The Second Stage of State Road Lighting Upgrading UnderwaySE Lithuanian Road Administration has signed four contracts with two suppliers. According to the contracts, the existing sodium vapor lamps shall be replaced by new LED type lighting during the period of 2020–2021. The total value of the signed contracts is 820 thousand Euros, with 4,526 items to be replaced.

Additional Funds for State Gravel Road PavingThe Lithuanian Road Administration under the Ministry of Transport and Communications (later – the Road Administration) has been allocated 8.9 million euros for asphalt paving of nine state gravel road sections. Based on the currently available funds, 1,470 km of gravel roads will be asphalt paved, i.e. ca 20 km more than it was informed in the beginning of June.

First Reconstruction Stage of Islandijos Road CompletedReconstruction works of the main road A1 Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda section from km 100.47 to km 101.79, which coincides with the first reconstruction stage of Islandijos road (orig. Islandijos plentas) have been completed. The works in this stage were performed from the Kleboniškis bridge to the Sargėnai intersection.
