Appointment of Mr Remigijus Lipkevičius as Permanent Director of SE Lithuanian Road Administration

The Ministry of Transport and Communications informs that upon completion of the verification procedure set by Lithuanian laws and assent of competent institutions, as of today, Mr Remigijus Lipkevičius is starting his five-year terms of office as the Director of SE Lithuanian Road Administration.

‘One of the key tasks of the Director of the Lithuanian Road Administration is successful reorganization of road sector management and effective use of funds allocated for state significance road maintenance and development. I wish him every success in taking this position’, says the Minister J. Narkevič.

Mr R. Lipkevičius was heading the administrative divisions and working as Deputy Director of the Lithuanian Road Administration under the Ministry of Transport and Communications. Currently, he has been taking the position of the Acting Director of SE Lithuanian Road Administration.
The newly appointed director is trusted to manage the strategically important SE Lithuanian Road Administration which administers state significance roads. The institution started its activities of the state enterprise on 1 September upon completion of its reorganization.
